Live Illustration: Mapping Sustainability

We recently had the opportunity to create a visual summary for the Altruistiq team in their yearly summit on The State of Sustainability.
Their mission? To equip enterprise brands with better environmental data, so sustainability teams can make informed decisions about interventions and financing. In doing so, they help companies build, buy and sell products that are better for the planet.
So we mapped and illustrated live for them a new journey for sustainability.
So they put together a session with a stellar panel, packed with valuable insights and tools for all attendees to implement.

The Problem:
Downloading a wealth of new information in a single session, aligning systems for best practice and providing the tools to action.
Keep the audience engaged at all times in a heavy packed session.
Making the feedback from attendees heard and seen.
The Solution:
A visual summary capturing both the panelists key messages and the audience questions, challenges and viable solutions.
Creating illustrations that visually resonate with the audience, mirroring their voice.
The Value:
Attendees are focused during the event and see their insights represented.
There is a physical space in the room for attendees to see the conversation as a whole and engage.

Once the live event was finished and back in the studio we digitised the mural so it can be shared amongst the attendees and Altruistiq’s comms, both internally and in social media.

Thanks for the Altruistiq team for an outstanding session and being drivers for change.
